What's Your 11th Essential?
Last month, we spent a few days at the Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show. This was the inaugural appearance at OR’s new home in Denver, CO. It was nice visiting a new location after going to Salt Lake City for the past many years. It didn’t take long to figure out the new floorplan, and we quickly fell into our “OR Jam”—booking it from one brand to the next, checking in with our reps and getting a sneak peek at some of the new gear coming later this year.
For a little fun this time, we quizzed the reps from some of our favorite brands on what goes into their packs as their 11th Essential. As hikers, backpackers, climbers, trail runners, skiers and snowboarders, they had lots of smart, creative and fun selections. You can see their picks by hovering over (or clicking on) their photos.
